Lu Shijin could hear something strange in Jin Jingyao’s words.
He changed his username. Even if Jin Jingyao stumbled across the work, how would he know Lu Shijin was the one who wrote it?

Lu Shijin thought of a possibility and asked 711 for confirmation.
“Convenience store, is his memory back? Does he know who I am?” Lu Shijin was a bit excited.

“Aren’t you the person who wrote ‘The Devoted Second Male Lead System (doujin)’?”
Lu Shijin felt his heart pound and asked urgently, “How did you know?”
“So that’s what you were referring to.” Jin Jingyao lightly smiled, “It’s simple. I just had to trace your IP address. It’s the same as the one Wang Lizhi uses, but there’s no way Wang Lizhi wrote it, so it had to be you.”
Lu Shijin was speechless. The truth was such a downer.
Seeing Lu Shijin be so out of it, Jin Jingyao explained, “I’ve already said that the subject can change, but the author’s style cannot. “Yet… you still commissioned me to write that?” Lu Shijin sat on the bed behind him. “What kind of kink is this?”
“I just wanted something interesting.” Jin Jingyao took off his wig and massaged his scalp, saying casually, “I’ve been in the cosplay world for so long, I’ve seen all kinds of fanfiction featuring me. There’s straight ones, gay ones, ones with real life celebrities and ones with fictional characters. There’s all kinds of stuff. Lu Shijin never thought of this reason. But then again, the current Jin Jingyao wasn’t the weeb-y kind of Jin Jingyao he was expecting, so he probably did it out of curiosity.
Lu Shijin suddenly thought of something important, “What did you mean by finding someone to act with you?”
“I do have plans for it. I found your outline pretty interesting. I think having such private cosplays would be a great collectible. I just haven’t found a fitting partner yet.” Jin Jingyao stood in front of Lu Shijin and smiled at him. “As the author, do you have any suggestions?”
“… You want to cosplay that fanfic?” Lu Shijin felt blood rush to his head and widened his eyes in disbelief. “You do realize that it’s smut, right? Unless you actually want to act like that?”
Jin Jingyao snickered, seeming to find Lu Shijin’s reaction interesting.
“It’s just some pictures, it doesn’t need to be real. It’s art, please don’t look at it with such lechery.”
Lu Shijin smiled with anger. He didn’t know when Jin Jingyao began feeling so artistic.
Calling smut art, the son of a bitch didn’t just want to screw over Wang Lizhi, he also wanted to cheat on Lu Shijin!

Lu Shijin extended his legs out. His dark suit perfectly framed his legs, making them seem exceptionally straight and long.

“No hurry.” Jin Jingyao lowered his head, looking at Lu Shijin’s legs. A flash of appreciation went through his eyes before he raised them and smiled, “We can discuss it after you finish writing. The most urgent thing right now is to trap Wang Lizhi.”
“For someone as powerful as you, it’s very easy to get rid of a small author. Why bother doing something so elaborate?”
Jin Jingyao smiled. “It’s like a game of cat and mouse. The cat wouldn’t immediately kill the mouse after catching it, it would play with it until the mouse is completely frightened and exhausted. Only then would it kill it. That’s what makes it interesting.”
“How savage of the cat, and how pitiful of the mouse.” Lu Shijin pretended to sigh.
Jin Jingyao bent down, seeing himself in Lu Shijin’s eyes as he asked in a light voice, “Then do you want to be a mouse or a cat?”
“Neither.” Lu Shijin also closed in. their noses were touching and the air between them was mixing. Lu Shijin said in a low voice, “It’s great being a human, why would I want to be a cat or mouse? I’d rather be the human who teases the cat.”
Jin Jingyao stared at Lu Shijin for a couple seconds, then straightened up, smiling as he clapped. “Well said! Why be a beast when you can be the trainer!”
“If there’s nothing else, Mr. Jin, I’ll be leaving.” Lu Shijin stood up, preparing to leave. Hearing this, Jin Jingyao’s expression was a bit down. “So soon? Do you have to leave this early?”
Lu Shijin said calmly, “If I stay too long, I’m worried Wang Lizhi would be suspicious. He keeps a very tight leash on me.”
Jin Jingyao seemed a bit unwilling, “I’ll see you out.”
“No need.” Lu Shijin sized Jin Jingyao up. “With your disheveled appearance, people would think I was doing something to you.”
“Are you worried about other people misunderstanding or Wang Lizhi misunderstanding?” Although Lu Shijin rejected him, Jin Jingyao still followed him.
Lu Shijin turned around, smiling. “I’m worried that I’ll misunderstand, misunderstand that Mr. Jin holds those intentions towards me.”

Lu Shijin calmly opened the door and walked out. Although he felt Jin Jingyao’s burning gaze on his back, he didn’t turn around.
The only way to keep a scum man interested was to pretend you weren’t interested.
