Julia couldn’t come to her senses. From the moment she was captured by Ruslan, numerous system windows had been pushed forward in front of her eyes. Ruslan’s reproachful voice continued pouring in against her while he tried to rip her brain out and injected much information into it with sheer force.
‘You dirty bitch. Such an unclean creature that only deserves to die. A parasite who could only pretend to be pitiful and poor while eating away at the sympathy all around her. On top of that, you have the sin of coveting the name of the Imperial Family without even knowing your lowly place.’
Her mind was eventually shattered and she couldn’t even blink an eye at the utter pain. His thoughts had intruded through without being filtered at all.
‘At that time, I should have just killed you by any means. But still, it was my mistake. I’ve made my master, who is much nobler than even the sun, miserable like that. My master is not the kind of person who would go through such humiliation to a mere commoner, but that winter……’
While the system window popped up and Ruslan’s hateful voice continuously echoed in her mind like a nightmare, her vision slowly turned before a white field of snow started to unfold.
A scene of winter from four years ago—when a sharp snow storm had raged and bloodstains were clearly drawn around the feet of a boy who seemed to have just lost his consciousness.
However, it was a little different from Julia’s own memory. A familiar letter was all crumpled in the man’s hand. He was looking down at the whole situation from such a high place. He could see a boy who was being dragged away in an unconscious state while a girl had been crying after him.
‘As expected, you’ve gotten caught. I must inform Her Highness of this news at once. You shouldn’t be happy even if you were to die.’
The voice that was filled with such terrifying delight must have been……

The scene of a snow covered night receded quickly. It seemed like a long time had already passed, but the scenery around her was just as she remembered. On top of that, Ruslan’s savage hand was gripping onto her shoulder tightly.
Julia’s hazy eyes eventually came alive. As she opened her eyes, she immediately grabbed a hold of Ruslan’s wrist back.
“Was it you?”
“What nonsense are you talking about now?”
“Don’t you dare say that you don’t know. I will never listen to you anymore.”
It was Ruslan who had been caught, but Julia’s grip trembled in the end.
“It should be okay now that I’m gone. I was the one who crawled into the depths of hell in place of Estelle. You had pushed me with your own hands. We will never ever see each other again in our own lives.”
“Don’t you dare speak of her name.”
“Was Estelle the one who ordered it? That sent me a fake letter before dispatching Legion, who was still so young, to the fiercest of the front lines. Was it all Estelle’s own doing?”
“How dare you—you dirty bitch!!”
In an instant, the sharp scent of blood had penetrated Julia’s sense of smell. Suddenly, along with the eerie sound of something piercing while tearing apart the insides of her body, she could feel a burning pain right near her stomach.
Ruslan’s sword had already pierced into her stomach before it completely perforated her back.
“Hu……”
She gasped faintly. With every breath that she took, blood was gushing out of her stomach like a fountain. She couldn’t stand it any longer. As she plummeted to the floor, Julia eventually curled up.
Ruslan’s hands were all drenched in blood. He looked down at his red-stained palms as if he was bewitched before running away with the spear that Julia had dropped then. He had shoved away the crowd that was gathering around in order to find a way to grab the spear and grabbed a hold of the handle at once.
Crackle, crackle!
The spear, which had resisted for a few moments, eventually became quiet as it absorbed Julia’s blood that leaked from Ruslan’s hand.
“Haha—we should have done this much earlier!”
The murmur of the knights gradually grew louder than ever. They alternately looked at the blood on Ruslan’s hands as well as at Julia who was lying behind the barrier, then they widened their eyes as if they had finally noticed the current situation.
“Sir Ruslan, what are you doing—!”
“Are you actually crazy right now?!”
“Save the key! Don’t ever let her die!”
Still, their cries did not stop right there. The Demon King, who had been floating in the air just a moment ago while giving such a contemptuous gaze, was now standing at the head of the already fallen key.
“Don’t be angry…”
“How can you even say that in this kind of situation?”
“This is all my fault. I had been utterly foolish. If only I had been a—cough—better human.”
“Stop.”
Every time Julia had gasped for breath, the blood that gushed out like a fountain slowly formed a muddy puddle around her. The red magic circle continued to swallow her blood recklessly, but it still couldn’t keep up with the speed of her bleeding. At this rate, she would ultimately die in just a matter of minutes.
The emissaries from earth were all in despair. If the key were to die, it would have been their turn next. Their bodies wouldn’t be left safe. That would prove to be the most dishonorable death as a knight.
The men who let out those despair-mixed sighs simply couldn’t believe the occasion that was transpiring right in front of their eyes.
“Open your mouth.”
“Uung……”
The Demon King’s atmosphere still felt utterly terrifying. But he soon knelt down beside Julia and carefully lifted her neck. He brushed aside her damp hair that was stuck in cold sweat and caressed her pale cheeks before he began to swallow her lips casually.
“Hu-uht.”
Every time the Demon King twisted his head, the two lumps of flesh proceeded to intertwine deeply together. The way he sucked and rubbed against the key’s small tongue while clinging to it for a deeper taste appeared to be electrifying as well as dangerous.
The Demon King’s chest continued to rise and fall wildly. His strong back muscles flexed as Julia moved, which ultimately created a shadow over her. Now, he had not been the King of Hell, but just a simple man who was pouring his lust onto his own lover.
And undeniably, anyone could have felt that too.
