“Your Highness, wait!”
Sihael roughly shook off the hand that had seized him. As he brushed his clothes as if they were dirty, there was a crack in her smile,
“To touch me without my permission… It seems you don’t need that hand.”
“I’m sorry, but there’s something I really want to tell you.”
He was sick of it. There had been a few women who approached him this way. Sihael, who turned his back as a gesture of irritation, was soon stopped by the words that followed.
“Wolf.”
Anisha, who approached Sihael, whispered quietly.
“That day, I saw your Highness turn into a really beautiful wolf.”
Sihael hardened at the cheerful voice, as if she were having fun toying with him.
Eutis, who was next to him and overheard the two of them, looked at his brother’s cold eyes and bit his tongue.
“Wh-What! Brother, this is completely insane. How dare you spew such bullshit.”
Should I shut her mouth? He inwardly thought out of defense. It was a side he didn’t show much to other people. Since she knew it already, there was no point in desperately trying to hide it.
Sihael raised one corner of his mouth.
“So, you’re going to threaten me?”
“No, just give me some time.”
Anisha stroked Sihael’s arm subtly. Her blatant gaze made him nauseous. It felt like a bug crawling up his arm.
“It’s so unfair that only Lady Katzel gets to occupy your time, Your Highness.”
Was this the reason why she was after Rosetta? Because she was jealous of Rosetta, who was keeping him all to herself? She only hurt Rosetta for that reason?
His stiffened jaw twitched. Sihael, who clenched his molars, growled furiously.
“I don’t care if you want to pick on me, but don’t touch Rosetta.”
“…What?”
“If I see you messing with Rosetta one more time…”
Anisha’s eyes twisted with pain when he grabbed her hand which climbed up to his chest. Sihael did not care and gripped her hand tightly.
“I’ll cut that insolent hand of yours.”
Anisha’s eyes trembled at the warning that he would even cut three inches of her tongue as a bonus.
“You better keep your mouth under control.”
After once more warning her that he’d kill her if she opened her mouth, Sihael shook off Anisha’s hand and turned away coldly.
‘Wow! How scary!’
Eutis thought Sihael had gotten a lot softer lately, but was it an illusion? Eutis, who gulped nervously at the cold back, followed him, not wanting to miss him. Sihael pressed down on his throbbing temples.
‘Did I get caught at His Majesty’s birthday party?’
No matter how much he thought about it, that must be it. She must have probably seen him right before he entered the lounge, but there were a lot of strange things.
Nanabi had checked the surroundings until the very end, and even erased the memories of the people around her in case something unexpected happened.
‘There’s something fishy.’
Either she had excellent skills enough to fool Nanabi’s eyes, or she had someone to help her.
Whatever it was, it was clear that she was a nuisance.
I’m glad I got Eutis out.
Sihael warned Eutis, who was pursing his lips.
“Stay away from that woman.”
“Oh, oh, I will.”
“Even if I have to choose, I would not choose a crazy woman like that.”
Tsk, at the sound of him clicking his tongue, Eutis thought calmly.
‘Who’s the one who can’t get his head around because he’s fallen for a crazy girl?’
Though Anisha, whom he had just seen, was quite crazy, the memory of Rosetta, breaking his hands and fingers, was still more firmly embedded in his mind.
“Brother.”
“What?”
“What did my mother do that day?”
At the last banquet, he remembered his mother had been in an exceptionally good mood since the morning. His mother, the empress, only smiled sincerely when she would torment Sihael.
Eutis smiled bitterly at Sihael’s cold eyes.
Yeah, there it is.
‘How great of my mother that she couldn’t even stand it from harassing him again.’
Eutis thought sarcastically. Cold eyes and pursed lips. There was no love in his eyes for his mother.
Eutis terribly hated the empress’ obsession with the throne. He hated her for forcing the throne on him, for driving Sihael to an extreme to take the throne. He hated everything.
“Brother. I’m not interested in the throne, so please let me keep my neck later.”
He detested the Imperial Throne, which was riddled with trickery, and he was even more reluctant to face Sihael, who had gone through all kinds of hardships and had surpassed normal human beings.
“It would be better if you send me to a decent place for exile.”
Anyway, this fight will end with Sihael’s victory. The Empress would either be driven out with nothing or have her throat cut.
Eutis was sure it would be the latter. Because of all the evil she committed towards him, she would never be forgiven.
“Are you going to go see a girl there too?”
“What if my woman of fate appears by then?”
He wasn’t sure if his woman of fate would go into exile with him.
“Brother, since you have no idea about romance, this may seem funny, but I have always dreamt of true love.”
“I know.”
“What?”
“That fate, I’ve met her too.”
Eutis could not believe that his brother, who was famous for seeing women like stones, would call a woman his fate.
Eutis, who had opened his mouth blankly, recalled a certain red-haired woman, and closed his mouth.
‘I’ll die if I say anything.’
His future sister-in-law was a crazy dog who boasts about her super strength. Eutis couldn’t help but gulp nervously.
