A boy felt that he was being too cowardly to be intimidated by a girl and coldly snorted, “Everyone knows it’s you who did it!”
“Yes!” Wang Shasha immediately chimed in, giving Chu Xuan a push. “Xuanxuan, don’t be afraid. Look at her, she has done so many terrible things and yet she’s so self-righteous. She even wants to sue me for defamation. Speak up quickly and expose her true nature. What right does she have to be our classmate? She’s simply mentally deranged!”
Chu Xuan looked at her with difficulty and then at Chu Xiang. She whispered, “We’re both fine now. Let it go, okay? My parents… they’re already very stressed. I don’t want them to get angry over these things. Besides, my identity… I’m sorry.” She bit her lip, took a deep breath, and appeared to bear the burden of humiliation. “Chu Xiang, it was my fault for falling into the water. I’m sorry for getting you involved. You… go to the hospital for a check-up quickly, I’m sorry.”
After speaking, she covered her mouth and ran away. Wang Shasha was furious but also understood Chu Xuan’s awkward situation. She was an adopted daughter. It wouldn’t be good to file a complaint. She glared at Chu Xiang and quickly chased after Chu Xuan.
