Chapter 311

5 min read

Although he had just started his journey as a brother, it seemed like he was doing well. He hoped that for the rest of his life, he could be a qualified brother.

He would spend the rest of his life making up for the childhood he owed her.

Su Yuanzhou slowly raised his eyes and looked at the man approaching them from a distance. The man he used to wish would disappear, someone he couldn’t stand to be in the same room with. He had to admit that he still hated that bastard who always stood out in any crowd.

But he had to admit even more that she loved him. If he was someone she liked, someone who could make her happy and bring a smile to her face, then he was willing to accept it.

With that in mind, Su Yuanzhou raised an eyebrow ever so slightly.

Su Qiuge seemed to have realized something and turned around directly.

Su Yuanzhou watched as the man reached out his hand to his sister. His sister smiled again.

Overflowing happiness filled his eyes.

He saw it all and felt a warm current in his heart.

Forget it, it didn’t matter what he was like as long as she could be happy.

When they returned to their wedding room, she let out a soft sigh and buried her face in the embrace of the man in front of her. She whispered, “I’m really tired and hungry.” He placed his hand on the back of her neck and gently massaged it, then said, “Shall we eat something?” She blinked and tilted her head to look at him, saying, “Why eat? Eating at night will make me fat.”

He remained silent for a moment, then placed his hand on the button at the back of her wedding dress and played with it, giving a strong suggestive gaze.

She almost instantly understood when their eyes met, remembering that he had indeed been sleeping in his study for a long time. She patted his shoulder and said, “No, my body hasn’t recovered yet.” He didn’t say anything but instead lowered his gaze and kissed her on the cheek.

She tried to push him away, saying, “No, no, I want to go eat!” He embraced her and whispered in her ear, “Hmm, you can go, it won’t bother me.” She stared at him with anger for a while and finally whispered, “What… What if you… get this wedding dress dirty…” He seemed unconcerned and replied, “If it gets dirty, we’ll just get you another custom-made one.” After saying that, he leaned closer and added meaningfully, “If you like it, I’ll custom-make one for you every night from now on.”

At first, she didn’t react, but when she realized what he meant, her ears turned red. She kicked him away and said, “Shameless!” He chuckled softly, “It’s not like it’s the first or second day.”

Seeing that he still seemed to think he was in the right, she widened her eyes and said, “Have you gone mad? Do you think that once we’re married, there’s no way to return you? Let me tell you, if you continue like this, I’ll go find someone else, boo hoo hoo…”

She couldn’t finish her words as he sealed her lips with his own, leaving her with wide eyes. He held her tightly and bit her lip, then said, “Didn’t you say earlier that you would take responsibility for me? Is this how you take responsibility?”

She looked up at him and coldly snorted, “Taking responsibility meant you should understand your family status, understand your own identity.”

He slightly turned his head and adjusted his collar, then he embraced her and let her sit on his lap.

Looking up at her, he raised an eyebrow and asked in a husky voice, “Do you like this?”

She blushed and didn’t say anything, and then she was engulfed in a kiss from him.

At the moment they fell onto the pristine bed together, the overhead light suddenly dimmed. As the light disappeared, a strong sense of excitement surged in her heart, as if at that moment, her soul intertwined and merged with his.

When her vision blurred, he leaned close to her ear and said with a passionate yet restrained tone,

“Qiuqiu, shall we have a child?”

After hearing these words, she trembled slightly, then locked eyes with him in the dim room. She took a breath and mustered the strength to say, “But… I thought you didn’t like children?”

He leaned down and kissed her, “There will be times when I can’t be by your side, and during those times, I hope our child can accompany you.” Even in the silence, one could see a hint of tender affection in his eyes and expression. He continued slowly, “As long as it’s something you like, I will like it too.”

When a bead of sweat from his chin landed on her face, her heart skipped a beat. Then she tilted her head back, embraced him, and whispered, “Okay.”

He pressed his lips against her cheek and in a hoarse voice, he murmured, “Qiuqiu, I love you.” A deep sound emanated from his chest, “I love you deeply.”

She opened her eyes and gazed at him, then jokingly asked, “How long will you love me?” After a brief moment of silence, he lowered his gaze and looked into her eyes with an almost reverent tone, “Until I die.”

Her breath caught, and she smiled, saying, “Me too.” As their lips met, she whispered softly, “Not only that, but in my next life, and the life after that, I will continue to love you.”

In the courtyard, roses bloomed splendidly, with red and white hues, casting shadows of intertwined whispers in the deserted night, showcasing the most brilliant phase of their blossoming.

-“Hey, do you believe in reincarnation?”

-“If I can meet you, then I firmly believe in it.”

In your life, you may encounter many stars, but for me, I only believe you are the moon.
