〈STATUS〉
Stamina: The stamina of ‘Edith Abina’. You die when your physical strength reaches zero. You can increase your maximum physical strength with consistent exercise and a proper diet.
Fame: The reputation of ‘Edith Abina’. You are influenced by your relationship with the people around you.
Charm: The ability to charm people. If you reach 100, it’s advantageous in targeting characters, and if you reach 200, you can receive a marriage proposal with just a wink. If you reach 300, you can use strangers as human foot scrubber.
Dignity: The degree of decency and manners of a noble lady.
Holy power: Sacred power. If it reaches 500, it is possible to win the title of ‘Real Saint.’
Morality: The extent to which ‘Edith Abina’ adheres to the morals as a human being. If it reaches 0, her sainthood will be revoked.
Appetite: The amount of food eaten. The higher the amount, the better for restoring stamina and improving maximum stamina.
After checking the detailed explanation that I roughly scanned through when playing the game, I frowned at the parts marked in bold.
‘When your stamina depletes to zero, you die… That’s why a warning appears that I might die while having sex with Lucas.’
I knew that increasing charm points would be advantageous for both men and women, but it was the first time I knew that if I reached the maximum of 300, I’d be able to use a stranger as a foot scrubber.
I didn’t really want to use a human foot wipe to be honest.
‘Anyway, the real saint title and the disqualification part is suspicious.’
I vowed to pry into it more the next time I meet the helper. Following Lucas’ lead, we went into the junk shop.

“Hmm? Closet from the inn?”
The junk owner raised his thick eyebrows when I asked about Adrian’s whereabouts discreetly.
“Yes. I heard the owner sold it because the door didn’t open.”
“Ah, you mean that heavy closet.”
The owner, wiping down his beard, swung the hammer in his hand to pound the iron and pointed to a pile of scrap metal that was piled high like a mountain.
“I threw it there to destroy them together. It was brought in the morning, so it’s buried now.”
I breathed a sigh of relief at the owner’s reply. Adrian wouldn’t have thought of coming out even when the closet was buried in a pile of metal scrap.
Maybe he’s hiding nearby. I started circling around the pile of scraps that the closet was buried in. After about one turn, the system window flashed and a new message appeared.
<QUEST> Find ‘Adrian Bernhard’ <2>
Close to ‘Adrian Bernhard’.
Fortunately, Adrian seemed to be nearby as I expected.
<SYSTEM> Among the items in your possession, there are quest related items. Do you want to use it?
YES
NO
‘Huh? I don’t recall acquiring any quest-related items.’
I was skeptical, but as soon as I accepted it, the necklace I was wearing around my neck began to shine softly. It was something Adrian had asked me to buy from a street vendor.
<ITEM> Trainer’s Necklace
Description: You can track lost pets.
‘For some reason, it was a special item because it was high quality for street stalls.’
As I touched the transparent red garnet, which was just like Adrian’s eyes, the necklace began to illuminate the scrap metal pile.
“Huh…?”
I was astonished by the necklace’s power, which pulled me to the pile of metal scraps like a magnet.
‘No way, I don’t think so.’
Even for Adrian, it didn’t make sense. No matter how well he listened to me, he didn’t choose to be buried alive just to obey my orders.
<QUEST> Find ‘Adrian Bernhard’ <2>
We are getting closer and closer to ‘Adrian Bernhard’.
This is crazy.
I rushed into the pile of scrap metal at the sight of the flashing system message.
“Hey, girl! What are you doing?”
The owner of the junkyard who was moving scrap metal nearby tilted his head, perhaps wondering what I was doing. I was in a hurry and dug out piles of metal with my bare hands, then I screamed.
“Mister! I’ll pay for it, and I’ll take the closet!”
“If that’s what you want, but… wouldn’t it be hard to find if it’s buried?”
“It’s okay! I’ll dig it out somehow!”
Dust stuck to my rolled-up sleeves and stained them black, but it wasn’t the time to care about my clothes getting dirty.
“Huh. Then at least use a shovel.”
I picked up the shovel at the owner’s words. If I don’t hurry, His Highness will be buried alive in another country, in a pile of metal scrap.
