Thanks to this, her extremely frightened mind seemed to relax a little. Julia then took a deep breath before she started to step onto dry ground.

Something unknown was eating away at her own body. As she continued to think like that, a chill suddenly ran straight down her spine. Julia carefully leaned her forehead against Bael’s shoulder. And in return, Bael’s steps halted all of a sudden.
“Why are you shaking like this?”
“Well, it seems like it’s a little bit cold. Maybe due to the fact that it’s up north or perhaps I should have brought along some more clothes instead.”
“Anyway, you’re just weak.”
Julia, who had been fiddling with her skirt for no apparent reason, instantly became dismayed by Bael’s cold voice before she lowered her gaze in response. Bael wrinkled his brow as if he felt annoyed with her as he set her down on a small rock. She actually didn’t wish to be apart from him, but she couldn’t help it at that moment.
She felt unfamiliar as well as afraid of the shadow monster that she had to kill. On top of that, the fact that she would die if she could not kill it while the demonic spirit was simply hiding in the thick fog. Besides, the same feeling was true for the unknown new ruler thing too.
Her nerves were already on edge due to nervousness. And her body trembled even as the wind merely blew in her ears.
“Open your arms.”
“What, what?”
She lifted her head in surprise, but there was no response. Instead, he tapped against both of her wrists as if he was urging her on instead. Bael then took off his robe and put it on Julia.
