Golden Agent of the Adonis (147)
Fang Zhenxuan was delighted by her natural show of affection and coquettishness. His lips couldn’t help but curl up into a smile as he embraced her and kissed the top of her head. “If you don’t want to get up, then don’t. Sleep a little longer. When you wake up, we’ll go to the cinema to watch a movie. We don’t need to worry about anything else. I’ll keep it on silent and watch over everything. I’ll call you if anything comes up.”
“Mhm.” With his assurance, Chu Xiang fell back asleep. She had been busy on her first night of being 31 years old until around four in the morning, and she has yet to recharge her energy. She was truly tired. But the feeling of having a young boyfriend felt great. It ignited a desire for a late morning court.
Fang Zhenxuan was only 23 years old, full of energy. With his girlfriend in his arms, he didn’t feel tired at all. He forcefully restrained his excited emotions so as not to wake his girlfriend. He watched her beside him, and no matter how much he looked, it wasn’t enough. His face was filled with an uncontrollable sweet smile, and his eyes were filled with love that didn’t need to be hidden anymore. Just watching her for two hours made him feel incredibly happy.
When Chu Xiang finally woke up fully rested, she opened her eyes and saw her adorable little boyfriend. She generously invited him to take a bath together, thoroughly enjoying her little boyfriend inside and out.
On their first official date as a couple, they went to watch a movie that they both starred in, and they brought Xinxin along as well. The three of them discreetly entered the theater after the movie had started and sat in the back row without attracting any attention.
Case Investigation Adventure was initially positioned as a unique comedy film, combining suspenseful deduction with lighthearted humor. The director didn’t have grand ambitions. However, after Fang Zhenxuan, Chu Xiang, and Xinxin joined the cast and began filming, the director’s mindset changed. Fang Zhenxuan’s acting skills were even better than during the audition; Chu Xiang’s acting was natural and effortless; and even little Xinxin seemed like she was born to be in the film. The three of them had great chemistry together.
With such talented actors in the cast, if the shots weren’t meticulously crafted, the director would be letting down his own film!
So the mind-boggling parts of the movie were intensified, and the humorous and funny scenes became more prominent. The director urged the screenwriter to give it her all, knowing that no matter how she wrote it, the actors would be able to bring it to life. He wanted to push the boundaries of the film and bring out the actors’ performances to the extreme.
Chu Xiang saw the director’s ambition and invested an additional twenty million yuan in the film, allowing the director to have more creative freedom in shooting. Now, seeing the finished product on the big screen, the director did not disappoint her.
Fang Zhenxuan’s shrewdness in the film was evident in every glance and decision he made. During the journey to solve the case, he played the fool, imitated and disguised himself as others, and even engaged in intense fights with criminals. His versatility showcased his superb acting skills. Even when he played the fool, people couldn’t help but believe that the person on the screen was truly a fool.
The film had frequent moments of laughter, and laughter could be heard sporadically in the theater. However, when Chu Xiang appeared, just a close-up of her profile silenced everyone. Subconsciously, they held their breaths. They didn’t know why, but suddenly, their hearts raced, as if something significant was about to happen to the protagonist.
Some people said that there weren’t so many different expressions in one’s eyes, that it was all just the audience’s imagination. But that was not true. A good actor could captivate the audience with just a single look. Just as when Chu Xiang looked up and glanced over, the audience instantly knew that she was the mastermind behind the scenes, the most challenging character in the entire film, the greatest threat to the protagonist.
The confrontation between Fang Zhenxuan and Chu Xiang was particularly nerve-wracking. Everyone saw her raised finger, afraid that she would lower it and give the order to attack. Everyone anxiously wanted Fang Zhenxuan to draw his gun quickly, but they also worried that the male lead would be breaking the law and it wouldn’t be worth it.
Just as everyone was anxiously focused on the screen, Xinxin’s words, “Mommy,” instantly relieved the tension. Everyone watched as Chu Xiang melted like snow, transforming in the blink of an eye into a mother who adored her daughter, radiating a harmless aura and giving off a gentle vibe.
Fang Zhenxuan noticed the audience in front rubbing their eyes as if they couldn’t believe that the previous Chu Xiang and the current her were the same person. He couldn’t help but chuckle lightly, holding Chu Xiang’s hand and whispering in her ear, “My girlfriend did an amazing job, captivating everyone. But this wonderful girlfriend is mine alone.”
Her little boyfriend’s coquetry always carried a sweet flavor. Chu Xiang quickly pecked his lips and pointed to the couple necklace around her neck, saying, “I’m locked in by you. No one can take me away.”
The couple necklace specially customized by Fang Zhenxuan had cross-shaped pendants studded with diamonds. One was large, and the other was small, featuring the same design with the letters “ZX” engraved on the back. Even during the days of secret admiration, he himself was a true fan of the Sweet CP.
