Chapter 127

“I don’t even look kindly on you sometimes.”

If I even treat you like this, how dare this punk feel wronged? Si-Jin’s gaze passed her by and faced forward. Na-Yool glared back with a deadpan face, unfazed by his predictable indifference, just to catch the sight of his hand leisurely pulling on his tie to loosen it. And incidentally, she got distracted again.

Si-Jin unfastened his shirt’s buttons one by one while deliberately staring at her.

“So?”

“…Hm?”

“Why do you suddenly ask me to take care of Seung-Jae?”

“Will you?”

“Depends on the reason.”

Na-Yool’s gaze, which had been following the hand unbuttoning the shirt, going further and further down until it gently traced his firm stomach, turned to Si-Jin’s face at once.

He was wearing his signature wicked smile.

“And on the reward.”

Even as a joke, it was lethal. Na-Yool’s heating face slightly looked away, mumbling in indignation.

“I do not value Lee Seung-Jae enough to surrender my body.”

“What a shame. If you had agreed, I would have punished you properly.”

“Punish, my foot.”

Na-Yool snorted in derision, to which Si-Jin responded by intimidatingly approaching closer. She smartly took some distance and continued.

“You just need to scold him less than usual. He is having a hard time—”

“—That’s him, what does it have to do with you anyway?”

“Because I turned him down.”

“…….”

“That’s why. Because I turned him down today.”

Si-Jin’s salacious face making jokes about reward and punishment a moment ago went cold in an instant.

Hang on, was such a bad expression justified?

“…I’m telling you I rejected him.”

“I heard. My ears are fine.”

“Then why…?”

“Why what?”

“…That face…”

“I don’t think that’s any exciting news.” Si-Jin groaned in an indifferent tone.

“I rejected Seung-Jae. So everything ends here.”

“Did you suddenly go kick him in the shin while he stood still? It’s not, is it.”

“What metaphor—”

“There must be a former motive for you to reject him, right?”

“Well, Seung-Jae confessed to me, but—”

“—Yes, that.”

“……”

“Also, it irks me when you just call that punk’s name.”

“Seung-Jae is Seung-Jae, what should I call him then…”

As Na-Yool muttered in bafflement, Si-Jin frowned. Seung-Jae is Na-Yool’s one and only team member. Therefore, it is also a name that must be called a hundred more times a week.

“You called him twice again.”

“…You do know he and I are in the same team, right?”

“He is not here. Just call him roughly, I still understand.”

“How can I call him more roughly than that?”

‘Lee Seung Jae’, ‘Seung Jae’… How could she be more formal? She could not really call him ‘Mr. Seung-Jae’, could she?

“There are many options. ‘This guy’, ‘this punk’…”

“…What did Seung-Jae do to me that I would call him that…”

“What do you think he did to me then?”

“Well, you just have a bad temper and a nasty mouth, so—”

Hearing Na-Yool’s utter her honest feelings without hesitation, Si-Jin irritably cut her off.

“—This bastard’s very existence gets on my nerves.”

“That is precisely what I mean by bad-tempered. Mr. President, you keep treating people like—”

“He very obviously kept sticking to you, but you firmly insisted he did not like you.”

“……”

“See, ultimately I was right, Kim Na-Yool.”

There it was. The “See I told you” she expected. However, she was more troubled by his annoyed expression than her reluctance to hear that obvious line.

“…Mr. President, why are you so hung up on it?”

Na-Yool asked out of concern, but the result was similar to mercilessly hitting the nail on the head. Of course, Si-Jin being as thick-skinned as he is, was not one to let himself get stabbed easily.

“I can be even more.”

“……”

“I’m just holding in in case you get sick of it and run away.”

That’s what you call holding in?”

“I can do it better if you ask me to.”

“……”

“Because I was the one who said I will do what you want.”

His feedback was earnest and sincere, yet given with a tone that lacked a hint of affection.

However, now Na-Yool could tell. The degree of emotion that he did not reveal.

“To be honest, I don’t know the difference between this punk and me.”

“Why would there be none—”

“To you.”

Na-Yool was stopped mid-sentence. Si-Jin went on.

“I keep wondering if the reason we are dating is only whether I got faster at drawing the lucky ticket than him.”

“……”

“Or whether my looks appeared like a safer choice than his playboy looks.”

“……”

“I’m not saying you are randomly dating me. But just, you know.”

“……”

“Each time I think of you, I simply become a stupid retard.”

“……”

“Each time I think of you, I can’t help but doubt myself. That’s why I have such idiotic delusions.”

Si-Jin did not say more and Na-Yool made no comment, so a vague silence momentarily settled in. Only after their eyes barely met did Na-Yool speak up.

“….Seung-Jae is…”

“……”

“He means nothing to me.”

“I know that.”

If you know then what is all this? Na-Yool unconsciously berated, but she quickly continued with the same both determined and indifferent expression as his.

“Of course, I like him, but…”

“…I hope this was not meant to cheer me up.”

“But it is definitely not in the same way that he likes me.”

“I know.”

He knew, but it was not enough. Na-Yool sighed.

“I told him I was dating someone.”

“That’s me?”

“Who else then?”

As Na-Yool huffed, Si-Jin suddenly lightened up as though receiving some great compliment.

“And I told him that we had feelings for each other.”

“……”

“So I hope you will understand why I’m requesting you to—”

Before Na-Yool could finish, she was pushed against the wall, suffocating from his heavy kiss.

“Do you like me?”

“I, can’t breath…! Don’t rush in so—”

“Do you like me?”

Her short training pants, which she had been wearing comfortably at home, suddenly and smoothly got tugged down by his hand.

If you are going to ask with such a serious face, at least sit properly! Or if you are going to lose yourself to lust, just don’t ask.

Na-Yool’s wishful thinking that they could discuss calmly got once again sucked back into Si-Jin’s kiss. He eagerly coveted Na-Yool’s mouth, not waiting for an answer as though he had forgotten all about his previous grievance. With their lips tightly pressed together, he unfastened all the remaining buttons of his shirt, roughly dangling on his body, and threw it off. His neck freed to change to a better angle, his supple tongue wrapped around hers and dug deeper.

His lips, endlessly sucking on hers, only parted away for Si-Jin to lift her shirt off. With her arms in the air in a hooray pose, Na-Yool was left with only her underwear. At the sight of the flesh protruding out of it, Si-Jin wheezed in a slightly hoarse voice.

“Don’t wear a bra at home.”

“That’s a bit–”

“Just be comfortable.” He whispered as his lips brushed Na-Yool’s earlobe.

Whether he meant it would be more comfortable for him or her, his intention could not be clearer.

Despite being utterly out of breath, Na-Yool spoke with rightfulness.

Huff… I am not that comfortable with you yet…”

“You will take it all off to sleep anyway.”

“That’s because we… huff… always end up doing it before sleeping…”

“Right, then let’s keep doing it this way from now on.”

The corners of Si-Jin’s mouth curled up in a near-perfect smile. Na-Yool’s eyes sulked.

“So your comfort is what matters, I see.”

“To be honest, I am so stimulated when you take off your clothes that I wish you would wear a little more.”

“…It is fine to act as a pervert, but that is quite above the norm.”

“My point is, it’s for your sake. Don’t go through the trouble of wearing it all because you’ll be taking it off soon anyway.”

Si-Jin left a mark as he nibbled on the soft flesh that peaked out of her bra. Na-Yool groaned softly as she cradled his head, and his lips moved slowly from her upper chest to her collarbone, trailing along her neckline and bit her chin painlessly.

“So, what’s your answer?”

For 3 seconds, Na-Yool did not even realize what kind of answer he was asking for, as he had made her lose her mind right after asking. [T/N: In case you forgot too, he previously asked her if she liked him.]
