Giselle woke up from sleep very early in the morning . She prepared herself a coffee and switched on the television to watch the news . Giselle's morning always routine included exercises . First, she stretched her whole body with a few warmups . Then follows her routine,
*Three sets of sit-ups, four sets of lunges, straight plank and on the spot running . *
The morning routine got completed with Yoga and meditation . The meditation part gets skipped sometimes if Giselle doesn't have time . Other than that, she follows these routines on alternate days to maintain her body and health .
While Giselle was on her meditation stage, she concentrated effortlessly but very soon it all became vanished into the air when her phone rang .
She looked at the screen and saw the name . It was Shane Ricardo . She quickly muted the television sound and answered her phone .
"Hello, Giselle?" Shane's voice was low and dry . It seems that he had just woken up to make this call .
"Yes, Mr . Ricardo . "
"I apologize for calling so early in the morning . However, I set up a meeting for you and Jayce at my home . He previously requested me to be there when you guys meet for the first time . Since I have no work at the office today, I have decided to set up the meeting here at my home . Will it be okay with you?"
"That's alright . Just let me know the time and address . I'll be there . " Giselle didn't hesitate .
Giselle felt more comfortable with Shane Ricardo being there at her first meeting with the Author .
"Oh definitely . And Giselle?"
"Yes, Mr . Ricardo!"
"I'm sure that we agreed to it already . "
" . . . "
" . . . "
"I'm sorry, Shane!!!" Giselle felt silly .
"Please, continue that rather than calling me 'Mr . Ricardo' . I already have someone who's tormenting me with those words . " Shane exhaled .
" . . . what?"
"Nothing . I will send you the address and what time you should be there via message . "
"Alright, Shane . "
"Thanks, well then See you soon . "
The call ended and very soon Giselle received the text . It was the address . While she checked out the location, she received another message specifying the time .
By now, Lia came out from her room . She looked all sleepy with bad bed-hair . She looked at her mom and went straight into her arms .
"You had good sleep baby?" Giselle cuddled with her daughter .
"Hmm . . . " Lia replied still in her sleep mode .
"How about mommy prepares your favorite breakfast and you go get ready for school?"
Lia got excited and then went running to the bathroom . Giselle finished her meditation and then went to the kitchen to prepare Lia and herself breakfast .
Today, they both left soon since Giselle didn't have to leave for work . As soon as they reached the school, Lia spotted Stephanie was just about to enter the building .
"Stephanie!" Lia shouted .
It worked as Stephanie turned around to see Lia with her mom . She ran towards their direction to greet Giselle .
"Good morning, Stephanie . How are you?" Giselle asked .
"I'm very good Ms . Giselle," Stephanie replied in her own charms way .
"Alright, mom . We'll leave then . Make sure to inform Mrs . Beth before you leave . " Lia shouted as she ran away with Stephanie .
Giselle waited until the kids reached their classrooms . Then, she went to Mrs . Beth's office .
"My dear, Giselle!!! What a surprise?" Mrs . Beth welcomed Giselle .
"Hey, Mrs . Beth . "
"I have a favor to ask of you . "
"Sure dear . "
"Can you take care of Lia today after school?"
"Of course . "
"I have a meeting with the author today . I'm not sure when it will end . Therefore, I need her to be safe until I return to pick her up . "
"Oh wow . Sure dear . Leave it to me . I'll watch over . You don't have to worry . Just focus on your work . "
Mrs . Beth agreed to watch over Lia after school . Giselle left after thanking Mrs . Beth for her help .
Soon, she returned home and started preparing her outfit . Since it will be her first time meeting an author, she saved herself a brand new outfit .

The time had arrived to get ready for the meeting . Giselle came out of her bath and dried her hair . After fixing her hair, she put on makeup . It was light and elevated her natural beauty . Then, she went to her closet and pulled out the outfit .
It was a pink Blouson dress .
She changed into her new outfit and gave a final touch-up for her face . Looking at herself in the mirror, she felt nothing but more confident and beautiful . With that, she left home and boarded the cab to Shane Ricardo's residence .
