Top-Notch Personal Meal (4.1)
Lin Jiayi was stunned by the scene.
He subconsciously took a step back and was about to open his mouth to spit or say something when he suddenly heard an angry roar coming from the person on the stairs, “What do you think you’re doing?”
The three of them turned to look back and saw Mu Cai running over like a gust of wind and slammed the door shut in front of them.
The sound of the door closing was deafening.
Mu Cai said angrily, “Why did you just break into someone else’s room? Did you get my permission?! ”
Lin Jiayi’s mind went blank for a moment from Mu Cai’s yelling.
He was a rich second-generation noble child who had been pampered, spoiled, and raised with care since he was young. The people he met were always respectful and didn’t dare to treat him like this.
Lin Jiayi was so angry that he immediately sneered back at him, “What’s wrong! I didn’t know you were such a pervert until I saw your room! Your room is full of Brother Gu’s posters, I don’t even dare to think about what you think about at night when you sleep! Wouldn’t it be all nasty and perverted things?!”
“Lin Jiayi.”
A familiar deep and stern voice came from the side.
Lin Jiayi was startled.
When he turned his head, he saw that Mo Hengqing, who was usually like a clear breeze, cold and noble, had sharp eyes, and the fierceness which could be seen in his eyes almost made his heart stop beating.
Mo Hengqing only glanced at him and then turned his face away to look at his younger brother who came along with his stepmother.
Mu Cai was leaning against the door, and on his originally pale face gradually emerged a layer of blush. The blush was most evident on his small earlobes, as they were about to drip blood which was in sharp contrast to his pale neck and hands.
He had his head bowed down and his cheeks were puffed up slightly. At this moment, he seemed to feel someone’s gaze, so he quickly raised his pair of eyes to look up at them.
The time of this glance was brief, but it was enough for Lin Jiayi to clearly notice Mu Cai’s eyes.
His eyes looked like they were blurred with a layer of water, coupled with his frowning brow; he seemed as if he was about to shed tears.
Lin Jiayi couldn’t say any more heavy words, and no matter how much anger he had, he could only hold it in his heart.
Who was he making such a pitiful appearance for?
When Lin Jiayi thought of Mu Cai’s infatuation with Gu Yunchen, he knew eight out of ten chances it was for his cousin. However, when he thought about it, he felt his mood fluctuating and became depressed and unhappy.
What an idiot!!
Why did you have to be infatuated with my cousin! Couldn’t you take a look at the people around you?
Lin Jiayi wanted to say what he was thinking, but when he saw Mu Cai’s flushed face, his dazzling white hands, and his small blood-dripping earlobes, his words got stuck in his throat.
In the end, Lin Jiayi had no choice but to give up. He scratched the back of his head impatiently and said to Mu Cai in a rough voice, “I’m sorry.”
Once he opened his mouth, the next words were much easier to say. Lin Jiayi puffed up his chest and said with encouragement, “I-, I shouldn’t have said that to you, so don’t be angry. Also-, also don’t cry.”
Cry?
Mu Cai looked up blankly, when did I cry?
Although Lin Jiayi seemed to have said some heavy words, in Mu Cai’s view, it was just a bad-mannered bear child losing his temper. It wasn’t like he was fond of Lin Jiayi, nor did he mind malicious slander from people. It wasn’t enough to make him cry.
Moreover, with the original body’s obsession with Gu Yunchen, what the original was thinking might be exactly the same as what Lin Jiayi said. As long as he thought of this, Mu Cai felt a little guilty.
After all, this room was full of the original owner’s secrets which had been completely exposed, and it happened to be in front of Gu Yunchen, the object of his secret affection. It’s really embarrassing to think about such a situation, not to mention Mu Cai was still in the center of the whirlpool; he felt his face was burning with shame.
Nor did he know what Gu Yunchen was thinking.
Mu Cai curiously looked up to peek at Gu Yunchen.
Gu Yunchen was standing on the other side. His appearance was as cold as a sharp sword, looking at him disdainfully. His indifferent gaze was icy, like the glacier on top of the mountain all year-round.
Mu Cai hurriedly withdrew his eyes.
Originally, he just wanted to peek, but he didn’t expect to be caught by Gu Yunchen. However, the other party was very calm, as if he wasn’t affected by this incident at all.
